Kinetic Studio ("the App") adds animations and animated sections to Shopify storefronts. This Privacy Policy describes what information is collected, how it is used, and how it is protected when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store. The App is operated by Entier LLC ("we", "us"). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at help@entier.app.

Information the App collects

When you install the App, Shopify provides us with:

• Your store's myshopify.com domain.
• An access token that lets the App act on your store within the permissions you approve at install. This token is stored encrypted.

The permissions the App requests, and what they are used for:

• Themes (read-only) — to list your themes, show which of them have the App enabled, and find the places in your theme where animations can go. The App never changes your theme's code.
• Metaobjects — to save your animation configurations. These are stored inside your own Shopify store, so your work stays under your control.
• Files — to store images, fonts and videos you upload for use in your animations, in your own store's file library.
• Products (read-only) — only when you choose to pre-fill an animated section from your products or collections. The App reads titles, descriptions and images to build the section; it never modifies your products.

Beyond this, we store on our own systems only what is needed to run the App: session records (your store domain and the encrypted access token) and short-lived technical caches. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify — we check your subscription status through Shopify's systems and never receive or store your payment details.

Customer and storefront visitor data

The App does not collect, store, or process personal information about your customers or storefront visitors. The App's storefront code renders animations only — it does not track visitors, does not use analytics or advertising identifiers, and does not set tracking cookies. Because no customer data is held, Shopify's customer data request and customer data erasure processes complete immediately with nothing to return or erase.

How we use information

• To operate the App: render your animations, save your configurations, and show your store's themes and products inside the App's editor.
• To verify your subscription status with Shopify.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties, except: with Shopify as part of operating a Shopify app; with the cloud infrastructure providers that host the App (who process it only on our behalf); or where required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

Data retention and deletion

• Your saved animation configurations and uploaded files live in your own Shopify store. They remain there if you uninstall the App — so your work is preserved if you reinstall — and you can delete them from within the App at any time while it is installed.
• When you uninstall the App, its access to your store is revoked and our stored sessions for your store are removed.
• 48 hours after uninstall, Shopify sends us a store-redaction request and we erase remaining store-linked data from our systems.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located (for example, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at help@entier.app and we will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law. Please note that we process store data on behalf of the merchants who install the App; if you are a customer of a store using the App, your data is governed by that store's own privacy policy (as noted above, the App itself does not collect customer data).

Security

Access tokens are stored encrypted, data is transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to our systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard measures.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
